Odessa City Tour

During this amazing 5 hour tour you will visit the most interesting and wonderful places in Odessa.  Our Odessa excursion is divided into two parts. During the first part, you will travel by car, then you will take a walk around the historical and architectural part of Odessa. To start the excursion, we will pick you up at your hotel, ship or where ever you are staying. Then will drive to April, 10 square,  which is dedicated to Liberation of Odessa from the German-Romainian Nazi occupation. It is a beautiful large square with tall monument surrounded by new buildings and a premium-class shopping mall called "Victory Gardens". (It is possible to visit it if you wish). Then we will drive along one of the most beautiful and luxurious streets of Odessa - French Boulevard. Next you"ll see our beautiful train station and move along famous Pushkinskaya street. We will stop near Odessa Filarmony, Bristol Hotel (Red Hotel in Soviet times) and Pushkin"s House. Last we will take you to the Opera House. This is where we will start our walking tour.
We"ll go along delicate Primorsky boulevard, see the famous Potemkin"s stairs, Ñatherine"s Square, famous Deribasovskaya street, the City Garden and many other interesting places. You will hear not only common facts you could read yourself, but also many more interesting stories that you will remember for a long time. Our excursion is very bright and interesting. Ancient Belgorod-Dnestrovsky and Shabo wine factory

Damascus, Rome, Athens - the wanderlust"s heart misses a beat.  The ancient cities, the world civilization centers, the embodied dream! We would like you to see Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, a small city located in about 1.5 hours driving from Odessa. It is one of the most ancient cities of Ukraine and of the world.  At more than 2500 years old, the city is the same age as Pompeii, Bologna and Marseilles. It is situated on the bank of Dnistrovskiy southwest of Odessa. In the 6th century B.C., the Greek colony of Tiras appeared on this site. It became an important trading center, was famous in ancient times and mentioned by the great historians Strabon and Herodotus. The city has been conquered many times and was often renamed by the victor.  It has had more than 20 names, but most translate to something like "White City" or "White Fortress".  Indeed, there is a well preserved fortress from the 15th century that has 26 turrets and 4 gates.  Belgorod combines world fame, calm and simplicity and a rich cultural heritage.

Shabo region has a long wine-making history. Located in 20 min from Belgorod-Dnestrovsky. Grapes have been cultivated here since  12th century. Shabo village is the real pearl of Ukrainian wine-making. The vineyards are at the same latitude as the famous wine regions Bordeaux and Burgundy. The mild steppe climate, the loamy soil and abundant sunshine provide ideal conditions for viticulture and wine-making. During our tour we"ll visit a three-level storage facility, bottling plant, the "Royal cellar" and the Sherry cellar. You can see the whole life cycle of wine from the first bursting bud to the last drop in the bottom of the glass. After visiting the production area we will go to the tasting room where you will have an opportunity to try many varieties of wine such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Cabernet, Chateau-Blanc, Bastardo, Royal Rouge, Royal Blanc, Shabo-Bordeaux and Ukrainian Cahors.  Wines are served with traditional tasting snacks crackers, walnuts, cheese and dark chocolate.
